Practice Nurse
Sam is a Practice Nurse with a particular interest in respiratory disease management, vaccinations, and public health. She enjoys running clinics and helping patients better understand their health, enabling them to feel confident in managing their wellbeing. Sam is particularly passionate about patient education and promoting preventative healthcare to support healthier communities.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys travelling, playing football, spending time with family, and exploring new hobbies and creative interests. She hopes to further develop her expertise in respiratory medicine and continue contributing to the delivery of excellent patient care.

I am a Registered General Nurse and completed my training in Jersey.
I worked at the hospital for a number of years, specialising in womans heath and later as a Specialist Nurse within the Pain Team. I moved into the community in 2014 to work for family Nursing and homecare and then into Practice Nursing.

Healthcare Assistant
Tatiana is an experienced Healthcare Assistant with over 10 years of experience working in healthcare. At Health Plus, she works alongside the doctors and nursing team, carrying out a wide range of clinical duties including ECGs, blood sampling, blood pressure checks, health screening, weight management, and assisting with minor procedures.
She holds a Level 3 Diploma in Clinical Support and has gained experience across a variety of areas, including wound care and general health screening.
Alongside her role as a Healthcare Assistant, Tatiana is a qualified counsellor, having completed six years of counselling training at Level 4 with the BACP Association. She currently provides counselling through a private service at the Health Plus premises and also volunteers at JAAR on a weekly basis.
Outside of working hours, Tatiana enjoys weekly church gatherings and spending time with family and friends, making the most of island life with her dog.

After qualifying from Guy’s and St. Thomas’s hospitals in 1999, Richard went onto pursue a career in surgery completing posts in Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, Orthopaedic and General Surgery. He obtained his post graduate qualification in surgery before switching to General Practice in 2003. He joined the practice in March 2007 and is now a full time partner.
He continues to enjoy performing minor surgery and has an active interest in travel medicine and dermatology. Outside of work, Richard enjoys competing in triathlons.

Philippa Bashforth joined the Practice in 2007. She trained at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals medical school in London. After completing her medical training she took further qualifications in general medicine and has a specialist interest in chronic conditions and elderly care. She also has a keen interest in family planning , contraception and menopause care including the fitting of the contraceptive coil.
Outside of the surgery, she enjoys sea swimming, running, cycling, skiing and playing padel with her family.

Sophie graduated from Brighton and Sussex Medical School in 2015, following which she spent 4 years working in various specialties at Jersey General Hospital. After this, Sophie completed her GP training working in a GP practice in Eastleigh and joined the practice in 2020.
She has special interests in obstetrics and gynaecology and sexual and reproductive health; holding a weekly coil and implant fitting/ removal clinic, as well as a weekly ear microsuction clinic.
Outside of work she enjoys swimming, horse riding and running, as well as spending time with her young children and helping out on the family farm!

Dr Klaber completed his medical degree at the University of Southampton in 2011. He spent his first 2 years as a junior doctor in the Jersey General Hospital, rotating through various specialities. He went on to complete his training to be a GP in Bournemouth and Poole. After a short stint as a GP in Somerset he has returned to Jersey. His interests include paediatrics, dermatology mental health and coaching. He has a young family keeping him busy, in his free time he enjoys playing padel, running and skiing.
Dr Klaber also works one day a week in the Dermatology Department with the specialist team.

Edd Watts qualified from Southampton Medical School in 2011. He worked at Jersey General Hospital for several years before completing his GP training in Poole. He returned to Jersey in 2016 and joined the practice in 2021.

Pip graduated from Southampton Medical School in 2015 and after several years working in Jersey General Hospital moved to the New Forest to complete her GP training.
Her interests include child health, reproductive health and menopause care. She is able to offer implants and coil fitting and removal and minor operations, and has a developing interest in dermatology and lifestyle medicine. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her young family.

Pippa Le Page qualified from King’s College London School of Medicine at Guys, King’s and St Thomas’ Hospital in 2013.
She spent time working in Australia and New Zealand before completing her GP training in Devon.
She was thrilled to return home to Jersey and join the practice in 2019. Outside of work she loves jumping in the sea and spending time with her young family.
She really enjoys the variety of family medicine and particular interests include children’s health and women’s health.

Jamie qualified from the University of Bristol medical school in 2017. He started working as a doctor in Jersey General Hospital in 2017. He has a BSc in Sports Science and a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine obtained in 2019. Jamie has a passion for sports and has competed in the Ironman World Championships in Hawaii. More recently has been representing Jersey in volleyball.
He has a keen interest in sports medicine.
Outside of work he enjoys playing a variety of sports and generally enjoying island life.

Dave trained at Guys, Kings and St Thomas Medical School, completing his training in 2003. He finished his General Practice training in 2009, and moved back to his home in Jersey. He lives in St Ouen, and like Adam, loves his sport and growing family. Dave’s a keen surfer, sailor, skier, and triathlete.
He completed his Post-graduate diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2018 from Bath University, and his mentorship in musculo-skeletal ultrasound with the Sports Medicine Ultrasound Group in London. He gained his Post-graduate Diploma in MSK ultrasound (including guided injections) in 2021 and completed his Consultant training in 2024.
He has previously worked as team Doctor with the Jersey Reds and the Welsh u18 mens rugby, and has also been part of the medical team for Super league triathlon.
In 2022 he worked as a Sports Doctor in the Athlete Village at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
In 2023 Dave was the Player Doctor for the British Open Wheelchair Tennis Championships.

I am Pauline Huelin and may be familiar to some of the clients at Health Plus as I have delivered immunisations at the practice. I am a Registered General Nurse and have many years’ experience working with people in health care, mainly in the community setting.
I am pleased to say I can now offer you foot care including basic diabetic foot health assessment, trimming of nails, callous removal, corns, advice re fungal nails amongst other basic problems we encounter with our feet. As a nurse I have a special interest in looking after feet for the elderly and diabetic patients who may be unable to care fully for their own feet.
