TEST RESULTS

 

It is very important that you are aware of the results of the test you had performed so that any action, as may be found necessary, can be taken as quickly as possible.

 

The following is a guide for test results to be received:-

Routine blood and urine tests - 5 working days

Specialised blood tests - 10 working days

X-ray, scanning and imaging reports - 7 working days

Cervical smears - 2-4 weeks

 

You are encouraged, in the case of every result or report, to attend surgery to discuss their implications.  This ensures confidentiality is maintained and avoids confusion, as our Receptionists are not medically trained to interpret and give results.
