Dave trained at Guys, Kings and St Thomas Medical School, completing his training in 2003. He finished his General Practice training in 2009, and moved back to his home in Jersey. He lives in St Ouen, and like Adam, loves his sport and growing family. Dave’s a keen surfer, sailor, skier, and triathlete.

He completed his Post-graduate diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2018 from Bath University, and his mentorship in musculo-skeletal ultrasound with the Sports Medicine Ultrasound Group in London. He gained his Post-graduate Diploma in MSK ultrasound (including guided injections) in 2021 and completed his Consultant training in 2024.

He has previously worked as team Doctor with the Jersey Reds and the Welsh u18 mens rugby, and has also been part of the medical team for Super league triathlon.
In 2022 he worked as a Sports Doctor in the Athlete Village at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
In 2023 Dave was the Player Doctor for the British Open Wheelchair Tennis Championships.
